Position Highlights

Warehouse Driver. As a key link between the warehouse and the resorts’ outlets, your core purpose is to make sure the right goods arrive safely, correctly, and on time. You will plan delivery routes, oversee safe loading, check every delivery against its paperwork, and support the warehouse team with picking, packing, labeling, and stock takes.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify delivery instructions, plan routes accordingly, and meet delivery schedules
• Ensure vehicles are loaded in an organized and efficient order in line with deliveries, within weight limits and properly secured
• Confirm on arrival that each delivery is safe to make and respects the property’s premises
• Check goods off with the receiving person against the delivery paperwork, noting any errors or returns, and obtain the receiver’s name and signature
• Pick goods accurately from order documentation, and securely pack and label goods going out to the outlets and other properties
• Label, catalog, and book goods in the Adaco system as required
• Support the warehouse with picking, packing, stock checks, loading, and stock takes, building a strong knowledge of the products
• Advise on shortages or low stock levels when appropriate
• Drive safely and professionally in accordance with the law, and inspect vehicles daily for mechanical and safety issues
• Report any accident as soon as possible in line with the company’s accident procedure

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Driver’s License “C” is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver transporting goods or in a similar position. Licensed or certified to operate forklifts and/or other warehouse equipment. High school diploma preferred. Good physical condition, with the ability to lift, carry, and move inventory as required. Must possess a valid Health Card. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid Aruban work permit.

Core Skills:

Safe commercial driving and route planning. Forklift and warehouse equipment operation. Order picking, packing, labeling, and delivery verification. Stock checks and inventory booking in Adaco.

Soft Skills:

Responsible and dependable, with respect for schedules and procedures. Able to follow standard procedures and solve problems as they arise. Attentive to detail when checking goods and paperwork.

Success Metrics

Deliveries arrive on schedule, complete, correct, and in good condition, with signed paperwork for every drop. Vehicles are inspected daily, loaded safely within weight limits, and driven without incident. Stock records in Adaco stay accurate, and shortages are reported early.
