Position Overview

Divi Resorts is seeking a meticulous Accounting Clerk and General Cashier to manage daily cash transactions and provide essential financial administrative support. This full-time role is vital for maintaining accurate internal ledgers, preparing daily flash reports, and reconciling expenditures. It offers a stable and optimistic environment for an organized professional to contribute directly to the financial health of the resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash and related transactions, issue receipts, and balance the cash fund accurately.
• Enter cash transactions into ledgers, reconcile cash reports, and prepare routine bank deposits.
• Prepare routine entries, post financial transactions, and reconcile internal ledgers and expenditure reports.
• Distribute and file financial documents and assist in preparing billings, budgets, and cost reports.
• Generate the Daily Flash report and fulfill all standard General Cashier and Accounting Clerk tasks.
• Execute additional financial tasks assigned by the Financial Controller and Assistant Financial Controller.
• Maintain familiarity with the property’s fire and emergency program protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications

• EPI Administration diploma or an equivalent educational background.
• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar financial, accounting, or cashiering position.
• Full fluency in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento.
• Thorough knowledge of cash management and accounts payable procedures.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in required computer and accounting software.
• Possession of a Dutch passport or a valid work permit for Aruba.
