About this skill

Arranging personalised services for guests, such as reservations, transport, tours and local recommendations, and following up so every request is fulfilled.

For candidates

Give examples of requests you handled from start to finish: a last-minute dinner booking, transport for a large group, a tour for a guest with limited mobility. Local knowledge counts, so mention the restaurants, tour operators and transport companies you know well.

Languages are part of the job. Most of Aruba's visitors come from North America, and Latin America is the fastest-growing group, so English and Spanish are the most useful pair.

For employers

List the languages you need and whether the role books paid services on commission. Ask candidates how they would handle a request you cannot fulfil, such as a fully booked restaurant on a holiday evening. The answer shows judgement and how they talk to guests.

How matching works

Matching is most reliable when both the profile and job listing use this same skill and any expected proficiency is set accurately.
