Position Highlights

Houseman. In this vital support role, you serve as the operational backbone of the housekeeping department. Your core purpose is to maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest corridors and public spaces while ensuring that our Room Attendants are fully supported with the supplies necessary to deliver a world-class guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of resort hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
• Transport and restock linens, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies to floor closets and mobile carts.
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy-duty tasks, including trash removal and the stripping of guest rooms during peak turnover.
• Deliver guest requests such as additional towels, pillows, or rollaway beds promptly and courteously.
• Perform specialized deep-cleaning tasks for carpets and floors in high-traffic public areas.
• Ensure guest laundry and dry-cleaning items are handled and delivered according to resort procedures.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards discovered during routine shift rounds.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Previous experience in a housekeeping or maintenance support role within a hospitality setting is preferred. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate to heavy weights throughout the shift. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Core Skills:

Knowledge of professional cleaning chemicals and the safe operation of floor-care equipment. Ability to manage logistical tasks with efficiency and speed.

Soft Skills:

A proactive, service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. A friendly demeanor and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

Success Metrics

Demonstrated efficiency in stocking and supporting housekeeping stations. Consistently high cleanliness ratings for assigned public areas and guest corridors. Prompt and accurate completion of guest requests with positive feedback on professional conduct.
