Security Shift Leader Full Time NEW

Position Overview

Costa Linda Beach Resort is currently seeking a disciplined and observant Security Shift Leader to join our security team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing shift operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, employees, and property.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader with excellent communication skills who can maintain a professional demeanor while managing the security needs of a busy resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel during assigned shifts

• Monitor resort premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates

• Act as a primary point of contact for emergency situations, providing calm and effective leadership

• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure all safety and security protocols are being followed

• Prepare detailed reports on shift activities, incidents, and any equipment irregularities

• Provide exceptional guest service by assisting with inquiries and maintaining a safe, welcoming atmosphere

• Ensure all security staff uphold the resort’s standards of discipline and professionalism

• Coordinate with other departments to support resort operations and guest safety

Education & Qualifications

• Minimum EPB diploma or equivalent

• High level of discipline and professional integrity

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Multilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

• Service-minded with a friendly and helpful approach toward guests and staff

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and decisive manner
