Position Highlights

Handyman. In this essential role, you play a vital part in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the resort. Your core purpose is to ensure our facilities remain in excellent condition by performing high-quality repairs and finishing work, providing a pristine environment that our guests expect from a world-class beach resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality painting, plastering, and finishing work throughout the property.
• Execute various general repairs and maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address wear and tear before they become larger issues.
• Ensure all repair work is completed in a professional, clean, and safe manner.
• Respond to maintenance requests with a service-minded attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Assist the engineering team with larger renovation or upkeep projects as needed.
• Maintain and organize tools and materials required for daily tasks.
• Work independently while strictly following all resort safety guidelines.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Minimum LTS diploma or equivalent, or at least five years of practical experience in property maintenance. Proven experience in painting, plastering, and general repairs. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Core Skills:

Advanced proficiency in painting and finishing techniques. Solid understanding of general building maintenance and tool safety. Ability to troubleshoot minor functional issues in a resort setting.

Soft Skills:

Proactive individual who takes pride in high-quality workmanship. Friendly and approachable personality with a service-oriented mindset.

Success Metrics

Demonstrated consistency in the quality and durability of painting and finishing work. High efficiency in responding to and resolving guest room repair requests. Maintained organization and safety standards within the maintenance workshop.
