Position Highlights

Human Resources Coordinator. As an energetic and service-oriented HR professional, your core purpose is to work closely with the Human Resources Manager to support the daily operations of the department. You will provide responsive, consistent support to our associates throughout their entire employment journey, combining hands-on coordination, recruitment, payroll administration, and employee engagement within a fast-paced luxury hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily administration and seamless operation of the Human Resources department
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records, process employment changes, and prepare HR documentation including contracts and employment letters
• Support payroll administration by processing information, monitoring attendance, leave, permits, and evaluations
• Assist with the full recruitment lifecycle, including publishing vacancies, screening applications, and coordinating interviews
• Coordinate and support the onboarding, orientation, and successful integration of new associates
• Maintain training records, support training initiatives, and assist with learning and development programs
• Respond professionally to associate and manager inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and payroll
• Support the implementation of standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with labor legislation in Aruba
• Coordinate associate engagement, wellness initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications
• Welcome and assist all visitors to the HR office in a highly professional and courteous manner
• Provide general administrative support and assist with departmental projects and events as needed

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

An Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a relevant field is required (a Bachelor’s degree is considered a strong asset). A minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources, personnel administration, payroll, or recruitment is essential. Previous experience within hospitality or another service-oriented environment is strongly preferred. Must have the flexibility to work Monday through Saturday based on a five-day workweek. All applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and may be subject to random testing.

Core Skills:

Excellent written and spoken English is strictly required, while proficiency in Papiamento, Dutch, and Spanish is strongly preferred. Strong computer skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Payroll Pro or another HR system, alongside knowledge of employment practices and labor legislation in Aruba, is highly advantageous.

Soft Skills:

Friendly, energetic, and highly organized. Handles confidential information with utmost discretion and takes pride in maintaining accurate records. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while delivering dependable, people-focused support.

Personnel records, payroll data, and HR documentation are maintained with perfect accuracy and strict confidentiality. The recruitment and onboarding processes run efficiently, ensuring new hires are warmly integrated.
