Position Highlights

Houseman. As a reliable and motivated housekeeping professional, your core purpose is to maintain the impeccable cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the resort. Working a stable 5-day, 40-hour workweek, you will provide vital support to room attendants, meticulously maintain public spaces, and ensure a comfortable, welcoming environment for our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Housekeeping staff with daily operational needs, including delivering linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and service areas
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, storage rooms, and back-of-house areas
• Remove trash and used linens from guest rooms and public spaces in a timely and hygienic manner
• Restock housekeeping carts, closets, and supply rooms consistently to ensure efficient daily operations
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged furniture and equipment to the appropriate department promptly
• Assist with setting up and breaking down guest rooms or common areas as needed
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests, working collaboratively with all departments to ensure smooth resort operations

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred but not required. Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. A strong ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods, is required.

Core Skills:

A strong understanding of resort cleanliness standards and safety procedures. Basic communication skills are required, while knowledge of multiple languages is considered a valuable asset.

Soft Skills:

A dependable, punctual, and highly professional attitude. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to organization. Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Success Metrics

Public areas, back-of-house spaces, and storage rooms are consistently maintained to high cleanliness and organizational standards. Housekeeping carts and supply rooms are efficiently restocked, enabling room attendants to work seamlessly. Trash and linens are removed promptly, and all maintenance issues are reported without delay.
