Position Overview
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to help guide our dedicated team at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. You will play a central role in our daily operations, directly supervising our room attendants, housemen, and laundry staff.
Your leadership ensures every guest enjoys a comfortable and seamless stay. You will take ownership of maintaining our high standards while also working closely with the Maintenance team to coordinate preventive care.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support Room Attendants, Housemen, and Laundry Attendants.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Assist with staff scheduling, daily task assignments, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate directly with the Maintenance team to coordinate and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities.
- Oversee supply inventory and ensure the efficient use of resort resources.
- Support guest service by responding promptly to requests and thoughtfully resolving housekeeping concerns.
- Promote and enforce environmental and sustainability practices throughout daily operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping within a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- The ability to lead, motivate, and train a diverse, multicultural team with empathy and respect.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, or Papiamento is considered a strong plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by hospitality operations.
