Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and driven Chef de Partie to become a vital creative force within our culinary team at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. Working closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, you will take distinct ownership of your specific station, ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our exacting standards of quality and presentation.
We rely on your culinary expertise to seamlessly execute menus that delight our guests, whether they are dining at Passions on the Beach or enjoying a relaxed evening at Horizons Lounge.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute menus in seamless collaboration with the Executive Chef and the wider kitchen team.
- Take full ownership of your assigned culinary station, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and timely output.
- Monitor inventory levels meticulously, ensuring all necessary ingredients and supplies are readily available.
- Place timely orders and coordinate with the storeroom to maintain a smooth flow of service and prevent shortages.
- Follow the precise direction of senior culinary leadership while positively guiding and supporting junior kitchen staff.
- Uphold the highest standard of food safety, sanitation, and organizational excellence within the kitchen at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Formal culinary degree (EPI Hospitality & Tourism or equivalent) or extensive practical training in the culinary arts.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a highly capable Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next professional step.
- Comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, premium ingredients, and modern kitchen equipment.
- Strong ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain composure during high-volume service periods.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively and respectfully within a diverse, multicultural kitchen team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by resort operations.
