Position Overview

Playa Linda Beach Resort is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join the Front Office team. This role is essential for managing the guest registration process, assisting with resort inquiries, and ensuring the financial accuracy of guest accounts. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, handle check-in and check-out procedures, and accommodate special requests.
• Adhere to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash handling procedures, including balancing shift reports.
• Manage room status and tracking using the RDP system in coordination with housekeeping.
• Answer inquiries regarding resort services, dining, and local directions, providing relief concierge support as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at the front desk while utilizing free time for administrative tidying.
• Adhere to safety, emergency, and “Green” policies, including waste reduction and recycling.
• Coordinate guest requests and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: EPI degree in hospitality.
• Experience: One year of experience in a similar position is desirable.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento fluently.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic knowledge of night audit functions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent listener with the ability to communicate across different cultures.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Professionalism: Must maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance and wear the proper uniform and name tag.
