Position Highlights

Night Audit Supervisor. In this critical overnight leadership role, you serve as the operational anchor for our front office and financial reporting systems during the night shift. Your core purpose is to oversee the night audit team with quiet authority, ensuring the accurate reconciliation of daily financial activities, seamless late-night guest arrivals, and the preparation of comprehensive reports for the upcoming day. By maintaining meticulous oversight and a service-oriented mindset, you guarantee the stability and continuous smooth operation of our Eagle Beach properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the night audit team, ensuring all staff are punctual, organized, and strictly adhering to front office procedures.
• Oversee and verify the accuracy of all guest check-ins, including VIP arrivals, walk-ins, and late-night room adjustments.
• Perform detailed audits of Food & Beverage and Room Cashier accounts, accurately identifying and reporting any deposit discrepancies.
• Reconcile outside vendor activities, telephone logs, and miscellaneous accounts to maintain highly accurate financial ledgers.
• Verify and process all correction vouchers, adjustment vouchers, and paid-outs with strict attention to detail.
• Generate, review, and distribute comprehensive daily reports, room statistics, and daily flash reports to respective department heads.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or inquiries promptly, maintaining a professional and accommodating nighttime environment.
• Coordinate with the Security department to handle lost and found items securely.
• Conduct regular spot checks at affiliated properties and hold monthly operational meetings with the night audit staff to ensure ongoing quality.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

A HAVO or EPI Diploma is required, paired with a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related field. Candidates must possess a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.

Core Skills:

Financial reconciliation, front office operations, and detailed daily reporting. Full fluency in English, Spanish, and Dutch is required. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and standard property management systems.

Soft Skills:

Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong capability for multitasking and problem-solving. A friendly, service-minded professional who can work independently and handle sensitive financial and guest information with strict confidentiality.

Success Metrics

Excellence in this role is demonstrated by the flawless execution of nightly financial audits and the accurate, timely distribution of morning reports. Success is measured by the operational readiness of the front desk for the morning shift, the positive resolution of overnight guest interactions, and the effective, reliable leadership of the night audit team.
