Position Highlights

Room Attendant. In this essential hospitality role, your core purpose is to maintain the intimate charm and pristine quality of our guest accommodations. You serve as a guardian of the guest experience, ensuring that every suite reflects the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that Caribbean Palm Village Resort is known for. This position is ideal for energetic individuals who take pride in meticulous detail and professional reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive cleaning and sanitization protocols for guest suites according to resort standards.
• Replenish guest amenities, linens, and supplies to ensure a seamless stay for our members.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Maintain organized housekeeping carts and storage areas to ensure operational efficiency.
• Adhere to the Aruba Health & Happiness Code to ensure a safe environment for both guests and colleagues.
• Provide a warm and professional presence when interacting with guests in hallways or common areas.
• Assist with seasonal deep-cleaning projects to maintain the resort’s high-quality aesthetic.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Primary school education or an equivalent qualification. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Core Skills:

Proficiency in cleaning techniques and the safe handling of cleaning agents. Ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity.

Soft Skills:

Energetic and motivated personality. A strong “team player” spirit characterized by reliable communication and a detail-oriented approach.

Success Metrics

Consistently high cleanliness scores during room inspections. Timely completion of daily room assignments while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Minimal guest feedback regarding room readiness or missed amenities. Demonstrated adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
