Position Highlights
F&B Cost Controller. At Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, your core purpose is to keep food and beverage costs accurate, controlled and clearly reported. You will monitor inventory and purchasing through the management system, track F&B costing, analyze variances and prepare reports in Excel, POS and reporting systems for management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor food and beverage costs and compare them against targets
- Oversee inventory and purchasing records in the inventory purchasing management system
- Conduct and reconcile inventory counts for food and beverage outlets and storerooms
- Calculate and review F&B costing, including recipe and menu costs
- Analyze cost and inventory variances and report findings to management
- Prepare regular cost reports using Excel, POS and reporting systems
- Work with the kitchen, bars, purchasing and accounting to keep costs and records accurate
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
Experience in hotel accounting or F&B cost control. Experience with an inventory purchasing management system. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.
Core Skills:
Strong knowledge of F&B costing and inventory. Comfortable with Excel, POS and reporting systems. Cost and variance analysis.
Soft Skills:
Analytical, detail oriented and accurate.
Success Metrics
F&B costs are measured accurately and stay on target, inventory counts reconcile, variances are explained, and management receives clear, timely cost reports.
