Position Highlights
F&B Busser. Working alongside the servers, your core purpose is to keep the dining room set, stocked and clean so service runs smoothly for every meal. You will set up and reset tables, clear plates and glassware, refill water and coffee, restock side stations, and support servers and the hostess during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up tables and side stations before service according to standards
- Stock glassware, china, flatware, linen, condiments, ice and water pitchers
- Serve water, bread and coffee to guests as directed
- Clear plates, glassware and cutlery promptly and courteously during and after the meal
- Clean and reset tables quickly for the next guests
- Carry dirty dishes and linen to the dish area and linen hamper
- Support servers with running food and drinks when needed
- Assist the hostess with seating guests during busy periods
- Keep floors, carpets and service areas clean, wiping spills immediately
- Check par stock and inform the supervisor of shortages
- Be familiar with the property's fire and emergency program
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
High school diploma. Experience preferred but not required. Able to work different shifts. Must have a valid Health Card. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.
Core Skills:
Table setting, clearing and resetting to standard. Side station set-up and restocking. Supporting servers during service. Basic computer knowledge. Food safety and HACCP guidelines.
Soft Skills:
Dependable, courteous team player who works quickly and quietly around guests. Flexible about shifts and attentive to cleanliness.
Success Metrics
Tables are cleared and reset promptly, side stations stay fully stocked, dining areas are clean and safe, and servers are well supported throughout each meal period.
