Position Highlights
Housecall Engineer. Responding to maintenance needs around the resort, your core purpose is to keep rooms and facilities in good working order. You will carry out routine preventive maintenance, plumbing work, HVAC maintenance and small appliance repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine preventive maintenance work, including replacing locks and light bulbs
- Perform various plumbing-related work
- Perform routine repair and maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, such as changing filters
- Repair small appliances such as fans, vacuum cleaners and microwave ovens
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
EPB diploma or equivalent with 1 year of work experience in a similar position. Can understand and speak Papiamento, English and Spanish. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.
Core Skills:
Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and masonry skills. Routine HVAC maintenance. Small appliance repair.
Soft Skills:
Dependable and practical problem solver. Courteous when working around guests.
Success Metrics
Preventive maintenance is completed on schedule, and plumbing, HVAC and appliance issues are resolved promptly and correctly.
