Position Highlights

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you provide the critical leadership required to maintain our rigorous standards of presentation and guest comfort. Your core purpose is to guide and motivate the housekeeping team, ensuring seamless room turnovers and meticulous cleanliness, which directly sustains the high level of satisfaction our members and guests expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet resort standards.
• Conduct thorough daily inspections of completed rooms and common areas to guarantee a pristine and inviting environment.
• Manage the distribution of staff assignments and monitor attendance to optimize departmental efficiency.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members to maintain consistent service quality and support professional growth.
• Coordinate closely with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to prioritize room readiness for arriving guests and VIPs.
• Oversee inventory levels for linens and cleaning supplies to ensure the team is always equipped for operational success.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

• Requirements: Minimum education level of MAVO / EPB or equivalent. Proven experience in Housekeeping Operations with previous supervisory experience. Dutch nationality or possession of a valid work permit. Female preferred.

• Core Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of professional cleaning techniques and sanitization standards. Proficient in staff scheduling and inventory management. Fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership and motivational capabilities. Highly organized with a meticulous, detail-oriented approach. Effective problem-solver with a service-oriented mindset.

Success Metrics

Consistency in achieving high room inspection scores during daily audits. Demonstrated improvement in staff efficiency and room turnover times during peak periods. Positive guest feedback regarding cleanliness and responsiveness during assigned shifts.
