Position Overview

Costa Linda Beach Resort is currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our maintenance department. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the resort. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from painting to general repairs, ensuring our facilities remain in excellent condition for our guests.

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who takes pride in their work, can operate independently with minimal supervision, and maintains a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality painting, plastering, and finishing work throughout the property

• Execute various general repairs and maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas

• Work independently with a minimum amount of supervision while following safety guidelines

• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address wear and tear before they become larger issues

• Ensure all repair work is completed in a professional, clean, and safe manner

• Respond to maintenance requests with a service-minded attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction

• Assist the engineering team with larger renovation or upkeep projects as needed

• Maintain and organize tools and materials required for daily tasks

Education & Qualifications

• Minimum LTS diploma or equivalent; or at least five (5) years of practical experience

• Proven experience in painting, general repairs, and property maintenance

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

• Service-minded with a friendly and approachable personality

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a professional appearance
