Position Highlights

As a Cocktail Server, you will perform a vital role in elevating the daily beverage operations and the overall guest experience. Working in an engaging and supportive environment, you will take ownership of efficient order procedures, table maintenance, and direct guest service, ensuring that all lounge and dining activities run flawlessly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute accurate cocktail order procedures, utilizing proper liquor abbreviations and following established call protocols with the bar team.
• Provide comprehensive food and beverage service, including preparing specialty coffees and consistently applying correct garnishes to all drinks.
• Maintain pristine lounge and dining environments by checking table positioning, lighting candles, clearing plates, and restocking supplies.
• Ensure a safe environment by providing responsible alcoholic beverage service and strictly adhering to alcohol awareness guidelines for intoxicated guests.
• Support broader resort operations by remaining familiar with the property’s fire and emergency programs and performing additional service duties as needed.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements

Candidates must hold an EPB or MAVO High School Diploma, or equivalent, alongside a minimum of one year of experience as a restaurant server. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid health card, and hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit. Full professional fluency in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento is strictly required to communicate effectively within our diverse resort environment.

Core Skills

Essential capabilities include comprehensive food and beverage service, ranging from accurate cocktail order procedures to the preparation of specialty coffees like espresso and cappuccino. Strong operational abilities are necessary, such as maintaining work supplies, ensuring correct table positioning, and adhering to strict environmental and cleanliness standards. A solid understanding of responsible alcoholic beverage service and emergency protocols is also required to maintain operational safety.

The ideal professional is highly service-oriented and possesses a pleasant personality.
