Position Highlights

Bartender. In this creative and guest-facing role, you serve as the heart of our beverage service at Horizons Lounge, the pool area, and Passions on the Beach. Your core purpose is to craft exceptional vacation memories through expert mixology and a warm, welcoming presence. By balancing technical precision with the effortless charm of Aruban hospitality, you ensure every guest interaction reflects the premium standards of Amsterdam Manor.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and professional flair.
• Engage with guests warmly, providing thoughtful recommendations based on up-to-date knowledge of cocktails, wines, and premium spirits.
• Accurately process guest orders and manage secure financial transactions utilizing the ALOHA POS system.
• Maintain an impeccably clean, organized, and fully stocked bar environment throughout the shift.
• Monitor beverage inventory levels proactively and communicate supply needs to the management team.
• Adhere strictly to responsible alcohol service guidelines and resort-wide safety standards.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the waitstaff and culinary teams to ensure a fluid and high-quality guest experience.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of proven bartending experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or dining setting. Formal bartending or mixology training is highly desirable. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Core Skills:

Full fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento to connect effectively with our international and local guests. Proficiency with the ALOHA POS system. High-level multitasking abilities while maintaining professional composure.

Soft Skills:

Naturally outgoing demeanor with a proactive approach to guest service. Impeccable grooming and commitment to detailed organization.

Success Metrics

Success in this role is measured by consistently positive guest feedback regarding beverage quality and bar atmosphere. Excellence is demonstrated through accuracy in inventory management and financial reporting via the POS system. We value the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards and seamless coordination with the wider food and beverage team to ensure operational stability.
