Position Highlights

As a Public Area Attendant, you serve as the guardian of the resort’s first impressions. Your core purpose is to maintain the impeccable cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of all common areas, ensuring that our lobbies, pool decks, and public facilities reflect the high standards of luxury and comfort our guests expect from a premier Caribbean resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute meticulous cleaning and sanitization protocols in the lobby, restrooms, and offices to ensure a hygienic and welcoming environment.
• Maintain the pool area and public decks to ensure they are free of debris and consistently ready for guest enjoyment.
• Monitor and replenish supplies in public facilities, ensuring uninterrupted access to essential amenities for guests and staff.
• Identify and report maintenance requirements or safety hazards immediately to preserve the physical integrity of the resort.
• Provide proactive, professional assistance to guests in public spaces, addressing inquiries with a service-oriented mindset.
• Manage the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment in strict accordance with resort safety standards.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

• Requirements: Minimum education level of MAVO / EPB or equivalent. Must be of Dutch nationality or possess a valid work permit. Must have own transportation. Age range: 18 to 50 years. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Core Skills: Proficiency in professional cleaning techniques and sanitization standards for high-traffic areas. Physical stamina for an active, mobile resort role. Multilingual fluency in English, Spanish, and Papiamento.

• Soft Skills: High attention to detail and organizational precision. Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong team-player mindset. Reliability and a proactive work ethic.

Success Metrics

Consistently high scores on cleanliness audits for public facilities and common areas. Zero safety incidents or chemical handling violations. Positive guest feedback regarding the responsiveness and presentation of the resort’s public spaces.
