Position Highlights

As a Human Resources Officer, you act as the primary steward of our professional community. Your core purpose is to oversee the entire employee lifecycle—from strategic recruitment to organizational development—ensuring that our resort remains a stable and compliant workplace where every team member can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the full-cycle recruitment process, including strategic job posting and candidate screening, to ensure high-quality talent acquisition.
• Lead employee relations initiatives by providing professional coaching and mediation to maintain a harmonious work culture.
• Oversee accurate payroll administration and documentation, including the management of time-tracking systems and benefit accruals.
• Ensure 100% compliance with local Aruban labor laws and internal company policies to mitigate organizational risk.
• Facilitate performance management and professional development programs to foster internal growth and talent retention.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

• Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience. Comprehensive knowledge of local Aruban labor laws.
• Core Skills: Multilingual fluency in English, Spanish, Papiamento, and Dutch. Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (e.g., Payroll Pro). Advanced organizational and administrative management.
• Soft Skills: High level of discretion and ethical judgment. Exceptional interpersonal communication. Quiet authority in leadership and mediation.

Success Metrics

Maintain zero compliance discrepancies in payroll and labor law audits. Achieve targeted retention rates through proactive employee engagement. Reduce time-to-hire while increasing the quality of candidate selection.
