Position Highlights

Houseman. In this active and essential housekeeping role, your core purpose is to maintain the physical flow and pristine appearance of the resort. You serve as the vital link between the laundry department and our guest suites, ensuring that the “friendly crew” has the resources they need while keeping public areas immaculate. This position is ideal for energetic professionals who take pride in organization and supporting a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of all public areas, including lobbies, walkways, and poolside facilities.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of fresh linens and essential guest supplies to housekeeping stations across the property.
• Provide proactive assistance to Room Attendants with heavy lifting, room preparation, and deep-cleaning tasks.
• Maintain the meticulous organization and cleanliness of supply closets and storage areas.
• Monitor resort grounds for litter or safety hazards, taking immediate action to maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Support the laundry department in managing the flow of linens and ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
• Adhere strictly to the Aruba Health & Happiness Code and all resort safety protocols.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Primary school education or an equivalent qualification. Physical stamina to work outdoors and handle heavy lifting throughout the shift. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Core Skills:

Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple delivery routes effectively.

Soft Skills:

An energetic and motivated personality. A strong “team player” spirit with a commitment to professional reliability and “quiet authority.”

Success Metrics

Consistently high cleanliness ratings for public areas and common spaces. Timely and accurate delivery of linens and supplies to the housekeeping team, ensuring zero operational downtime. Demonstrated proactive maintenance of storage areas and a high level of collaborative support for the Room Attendant team.
