Position Highlights

IT Support Specialist. As the primary technological problem-solver for the resort, your core purpose is to be the first point of contact for all technology needs, ensuring our systems run flawlessly behind the scenes. You will keep our team connected and our guests supported, delivering fast, friendly, and highly professional assistance whether you are configuring a workstation, restoring network access, or helping a guest connect a personal device.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, document, and resolve daily IT requests efficiently through the ALICE ticketing system
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, user accounts, networks, and Microsoft 365 environments
• Support comprehensive guest-room technology, including Wi-Fi, televisions, tablets, telephones, and streaming services
• Install, configure, and seamlessly maintain computers, printers, mobile devices, and associate workstations
• Support essential hotel operational systems, including property management software and point-of-sale systems
• Maintain a highly accurate IT equipment inventory and organized secure storage areas
• Escalate complex technical issues while ensuring clear communication and prompt follow-up with all stakeholders
• Assist proactively with technology rollouts, testing, preventive maintenance, and cybersecurity compliance
• Participate actively and reliably in the resort’s on-call support schedule

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

An MBO-level education is required, preferably in ICT or a related technological field. Must possess previous hands-on experience in a helpdesk, service desk, or IT support role. Flexibility to participate in an on-call schedule is essential to support a 24/7 hospitality environment. All applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Core Skills:

Strong functional knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware configurations, and network environments. Fluency in English is strictly required, while proficiency in Dutch, Spanish, or Papiamento is highly valued. Previous experience with hotel systems, ticketing platforms, or cybersecurity practices is considered a distinct advantage.

Soft Skills:

A proactive, highly organized, and patient professional who remains calm when handling urgent technical issues. An approachable and customer-focused communicator who excels at explaining complex technical matters in simple, accessible language. Comfortable working independently while collaborating seamlessly across all resort departments.

Success Metrics

Helpdesk tickets via the ALICE system are responded to and resolved promptly, minimizing operational downtime. Guest-room technology functions reliably, contributing to a seamless and luxurious guest experience. Inventory remains accurate, and both associates and guests feel heard and supported through clear, jargon-free communication.
