Position Highlights
General Maintenance PM. Covering The Dutch Village, Divi Village and Divi Golf, your core purpose is to keep these properties in good repair through routine preventive maintenance. You will replace locks and bulbs, carry out painting, plumbing and HVAC work, and repair small appliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine preventive maintenance work, including replacing locks and light bulbs and painting jobs at The Dutch Village, Divi Village and Divi Golf
- Perform various plumbing-related work
- Perform routine repair and maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, such as changing filters
- Repair small appliances such as fans, vacuum cleaners and microwave ovens
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
EPB diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred. Can understand and speak Papiamento and English. Strong physical condition. Must hold a Dutch passport or a valid work permit.
Core Skills:
Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and masonry skills. Painting. Routine HVAC maintenance. Small appliance repair.
Soft Skills:
Dependable and self-directed across several properties. Courteous when working around guests.
Success Metrics
Preventive maintenance and painting are completed on schedule across all three properties, and plumbing, HVAC and appliance issues are resolved promptly.
