Maintenance Technician Full Time NEW

Position Overview

Costa Linda Beach Resort is currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our facilities department. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and upkeep of the resort’s mechanical and electrical systems, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and staff.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a strong technical background, capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining the high service standards of our resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on electrical and mechanical systems

• Maintain and troubleshoot critical equipment, including chillers, boilers, and related machinery

• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and ensure longevity

• Work independently and efficiently with a minimum amount of supervision

• Follow all safety protocols and resort procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Respond to guest room maintenance requests in a professional and friendly manner

• Document all work performed and report significant issues to the department head

• Collaborate with other team members to complete larger resort-wide projects

Education & Qualifications

• Minimum MTS diploma or equivalent; or at least five (5) years of relevant experience

• Proven electrical and mechanical skills, specifically with chillers and boilers

• Multilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a professional and safe manner

• Service-minded approach with a friendly and approachable personality

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
