About the Job
The shift engineer is the primarily responsible individual for the accurate handling of all guest maintenance issues. He also reviews at the start of each shift the list of operating activities for the day.
Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude of equipment and how to properly maintain resort equipment.
- Knowledge of resort controls, tools, equipment, and proper procedures to maintain the Guest room and Guest areas.
- Ability to understand and execute written and oral instructions and relay those instructions to other Shift Engineers on subsequent shifts.
Education & Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or Property / Facilities or Engineering disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience prior experience serving at range of Hotel, Properties, Facilities and Engineering.
