Position Summary
Aruba Beach Club Resort is seeking a responsible, alert, and service-oriented Security Guard to join our team. This position is essential in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our guests, employees, and resort property. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, physical readiness, and a commitment to excellent guest service in a resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor resort grounds, facilities, and public areas to ensure safety and security at all times
- Control access to the property and respond appropriately to security situations or emergencies
- Conduct regular patrols to identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activities, or violations of resort policies
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest and employee concerns
- Assist in emergency situations, including medical incidents, evacuations, or other safety-related events
- Prepare accurate incident and shift reports as required
- Work closely with management and other departments to maintain a safe and secure resort environment
- Enforce resort rules and regulations while maintaining a courteous and respectful approach
- Deliver excellent service by being attentive, responsible, and a cooperative team player
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum education level: MAVO / EPB or equivalent
- Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays
- Must be able to speak and write English, Spanish, and Papiamento
- Must be of Dutch nationality or possess a valid work permit
- Must be certified in First Aid and CPR, or willing to complete the required training as soon as possible
- Strong customer service mindset with a courteous and professional demeanor
- Male candidate in good physical condition
- Age requirement: 25 to 45 years
- Must be able to present a letter of good conduct
- Must be willing to complete a written test as part of the application process
