Position Highlights

Storeroom Attendant. In this critical logistical role, you serve as the guardian of our resort’s supply chain. Your core purpose is to manage the flow of goods and materials with “quiet authority,” ensuring that every department has the resources needed to function seamlessly. By maintaining meticulous inventory controls and high standards of organization, you contribute directly to the operational stability and financial health of the resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Order goods and supplies proactively to ensure that optimal stock levels are consistently maintained.
• Execute the receiving and inspection of all deliveries to verify that quality, quantity, and pricing align with approved orders.
• Complete all administrative documentation for deliveries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage the correct storage and rotation of stock using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
• Ensure that all issues from the storeroom are made against authorized requisitions and properly documented.
• Maintain maximum security of all storeroom areas, managing access and key control with professional discipline.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory audits at prescribed intervals.
• Organize and sanitize storage facilities, including refrigerators and freezers, to meet health and safety standards.
• Monitor the condition of storeroom equipment and report any maintenance needs to the department leader.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Highschool Diploma or MBO Diploma; 2 years of experience in a storeroom or warehouse environment is preferred. Strong physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Core Skills:

Multilingual fluency in English, Papiamento, Spanish, and Dutch. Solid computer skills for inventory tracking and administrative tasks. Knowledge of engineering or resort operations is an asset.

Soft Skills:

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. A service-oriented team player with a proactive and reliable approach to daily tasks.

Success Metrics

Excellence in this role is demonstrated through 100% accuracy in inventory counts and the elimination of stock discrepancies. Success is measured by the timeous completion of all delivery administration and the consistent maintenance of “zero-interruption” supply levels for resort departments. We value the ability to uphold strict security and hygiene standards within all storage areas.
