Department: Housekeeping
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
About the Job
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness are maintained throughout the resort. You will manage daily operations within the housekeeping and laundry departments, inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with Casa del Mar policies. In this leadership role, you will assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily activities while coaching, guiding, and training staff to deliver prompt and courteous service to our guests.
Knowledge & Skills
- Service Principles: Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards and personal service processes.
- Physical Capability: Must meet the physical requirements of the position, including high mobility and stamina.
- Multilingual Proficiency: Strong communication skills in English, Spanish, and Papiamento are required.
- Detail Orientation: Ability to work independently, follow complex instructions, and maintain a meticulous eye for detail.
Education & Experience
- Education: Secondary school education preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping preferred.
