Safety & Scam Reporting
Last updated September 27, 2026
Our Commitment to Safety
Aruba Jobs wants every job seeker and employer on the platform to have a safe experience. While we review listings, we can’t guarantee every interaction on or off the platform, so it’s important to stay alert.
Common Warning Signs of a Job Scam
- A job offer that requires you to pay money upfront (for training, equipment, or “processing fees”)
- Requests for sensitive personal or banking information very early in the process
- Salaries that seem unrealistically high for the role or effort described
- Communication only through personal messaging apps, never a company email or phone number
- Pressure to make a fast decision without a proper interview
Tips to Stay Safe
- Research the company independently before sharing personal information
- Never pay money to apply for or accept a job
- Be cautious about sharing your ID, bank details, or passwords before you’ve verified an employer is legitimate
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it’s okay to walk away
What Aruba Jobs Does
We review reported listings and take action against accounts found to be posting fraudulent or misleading job offers, which may include removing listings and suspending accounts.
How to Report a Suspicious Listing
If you come across a job listing or message that looks like a scam, please report it to us through our Contact page with as much detail as possible (the listing, company name, and any messages received).
