Responsibilities
- All outside parts and any fixtures and fittings inside the guest room.
- Pipes, wiring, fittings for your AC/heating system, drains.
- Power and lighting.
- Any smoke detectors we have installed.
- Servicing appliances, common facilities or open areas.
- Replacing lost keys and changing locks.
- Replacing bulbs and fluorescent starters.
- Repairing doors and fixtures (this includes making adjustments for new carpets).
- Clear blocked waste pipes or toilets.
- Filling minor cracks or holes in wall plaster.
- Putting up any TV’s.
- Replacing the battery in your smoke detector (if it is battery-operated).
Requirements and Qualifications
- EPB Diploma
- Experience preferred but not required
- Can understand and speak Papiamento and English
- Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mason skills
- Service oriented
- Strong physical condition
- Has a Dutch Passport or a valid work permit
