Responsibilities

Disinfect and sanitize food preparations surfaces and equipment
Prepares all fruits and vegetables for serving or cooking by washing, peeling and cutting and store in respective refrigerators for future use
Prepare a variety of cold meats, removing shell from seafood, slicing cold cuts for serving and breading of fish and other items as necessary
Prepare various cold menu items and garnishes them according to prescribed recipes
Prepare toast and hors d’oeuvres, both hot and cold
Plate and garnish all desserts, such as ice-cream, pies, cakes and fruit cups
Responsible for conserving food items utilizing all products and by-products to prevent waste
Use, maintain and clean equipment according to procedures
Be familiar with the property’s fire and emergency program
Any other reasonable duties as required
