Position Highlights

Laundry Attendant. In this essential role, you provide the fresh foundation for a luxury guest experience. Your core purpose is to ensure all resort linens and towels are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and preparation. By managing laundry operations with professional poise and understated confidence, you support the seamless flow of daily housekeeping and contribute directly to the comfort and satisfaction of our international clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and process used linens, towels, and uniforms from guest rooms and resort facilities.
• Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fold, organize, and neatly store all freshly laundered items to ensure immediate availability for the housekeeping team.
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, or wear, and report damaged items directly to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized laundry facility throughout the shift.
• Support the resort’s sustainability goals by adhering to strict water and energy conservation guidelines.

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Physical stamina to comfortably stand, lift, bend, and move heavy linen carts throughout the shift. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by resort operations. Previous experience in commercial laundry, housekeeping, or a related cleaning role is preferred.

Core Skills:

Operation of commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment. Meticulous linen sorting and quality inspection. Professional folding and organizational techniques. Adherence to water and energy conservation protocols.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and a genuine dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards. The ability to work efficiently within a team while managing independent tasks with reliability.

Success Metrics

Excellence in this role is demonstrated by the consistent availability of pristine linens for the housekeeping department and the meticulous organization of the laundry facility.
