Position Highlights

Data Analyst. In this strategic role, you will convert resort-wide operational, commercial, and guest data into clear, actionable business intelligence to support informed decision-making across all departments. Working closely with Senior Management and departmental leaders, you will design automated dashboards, monitor revenue performance, evaluate operational trends, and leverage modern analytical and AI tools to drive resort profitability, workflow efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, validate, and analyze complex datasets across resort operations, including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest feedback systems
Build, maintain, and automate recurring executive dashboards, performance reports, and operational KPI overviews for Senior Management and department heads
Track, evaluate, and forecast core hospitality metrics, including Average Daily Rate (ADR), occupancy rates, and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR)
Identify operational trends, revenue optimization opportunities, and efficiency gaps to enhance service delivery and profitability
Utilize AI-assisted platforms and automated workflows (such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Notion) to optimize reporting, forecasting, and data processes
Rigorously evaluate and validate all AI-generated outputs and analytical models prior to deployment to ensure absolute data integrity
Translate complex quantitative findings into clear, accessible presentations and strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, revenue analysis, or a comparable analytical role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with a working knowledge of SQL and data visualization platforms. Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Notion). Previous analytics experience within the hospitality or resort sector is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch, Papiamento, and/or Spanish is a plus. Applicants must hold valid legal authorization to work in Aruba.

Core Skills:

Advanced data modeling, statistical analysis, and database querying using SQL and Microsoft Excel. Dashboard development, data transformation, and reporting within Microsoft Power BI. Hospitality revenue metrics analysis (ADR, RevPAR, occupancy), cross-departmental data synthesis, and AI workflow integration.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional analytical reasoning, structured problem-solving, and critical thinking. Ability to articulate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership. High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.

Success Metrics

Executive dashboards and departmental KPI reports are delivered accurately and punctually with automated, validated data pipelines. Actionable commercial and operational insights directly support management forecasting, cost containment, and guest satisfaction enhancement. AI-assisted analytical tools are reliably implemented and thoroughly verified for data accuracy and reporting precision.
