Position Highlights

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper and take responsibility for managing the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments. Your core focus will be ensuring that the resort maintains its exceptional cleanliness standards while providing prompt and courteous service to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the housekeeping and laundry department
• Ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness are maintained throughout the resort
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas of the resort after being cleaned by housekeeping staff in accordance with Casa del Mar (CDM) policies and guidelines
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily activities
• Coach, guide, and train housekeeping staff
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests

Requirements, Skills & Traits

Requirements

• Secondary school education is preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping is preferred
• Strong communication skills in English, Spanish, and Papiamento are required
• Must be physically capable to meet the requirements of the position, such as physical mobility and stamina

• Housekeeping and laundry operations management
• Detailed room and public area inspection
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services

• Guest rooms and public areas consistently pass inspection in accordance with Casa del Mar policies and guidelines
• Housekeeping staff are successfully coached, guided, and trained to support daily activities
• Prompt and courteous personal service is continuously provided to resort guests
