Responsibilities
- Print room/rate report, complimentary room report and F&B report.
- Post and audit banquet charges.
- Adjust outside vendor activity.
- Reconcile telephone calls and miscellaneous accounts.
- Verify closed checks. Audit F&B cashier’s work and F.O. cashier’s work.
- Deposit discrepancies report.
- Record room statistics.
- Complete and balance daily flash reports.
- Print all required morning reports.
- Review and complete checklist.
- Assume Front Desk responsibilities.
- Check availability. Sell room.
- Handle all room reservations according to procedures.
- Handle walk-in registrations professionally.
- File registration card in the pit
- Handle VIP check-in according to procedures.
- Separate room/Tax and incidental accounts.
- Walk guest to other resorts as instructed.
- Handle room change requests if necessary and possible.
- Handle guest mail, faxes and messages strictly following procedures.
- Handle Safe Deposit boxes requests promptly.
- Handle all Lost and Found with Security.
- Handle all cashiering jobs according to hotel procedures.
- Process miscellaneous charges, correction vouchers, adjustment vouchers and paid outs.
- Check out guests.
- Do a periodic key inventory.
- Make a cashier’s report.
- Secure all banks.
- Balance room types.
- Handle all due outs and discrepancies.
- Prepare for next shift.
Requirements and Qualifications
- MAVO or EPI Diploma with 2 years of experience of Front Desk experience preferred
- Cashier experience is preferred
- Fluent in English, Spanish and Dutch
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- Organized and detail oriented
- Has a Dutch Passport or a valid work permit
