Position Highlights
Event Operations Assistant. Working directly alongside our Operations and Logistics Managers, you will serve as an energetic, hands-on team member responsible for bringing event designs to life. In this versatile role, you will prepare décor and florals, maintain an event-ready warehouse, support physical event setups and breakdowns, and ensure seamless operational execution across event venues in Aruba.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and inspect décor, furniture, and event materials prior to production
- Assist with botanicals and floral preparation according to event design specifications
- Execute physical event setups and breakdowns on site, ensuring all materials are safely handled and positioned
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and continuously event-ready
- Assist with inventory preparation, staging, and quality control checks before and after events
- Work alongside Operations and Logistics Managers on site to ensure every event runs smoothly
- Support safe loading, transport, and handling of high-end event decor and production equipment
Requirements, Skills & Traits
Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation. Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. Physical capability and willingness to perform hands-on, active work. Applicants must hold valid legal authorization to work in Aruba.
Core Skills:
Practical knowledge of event setup, inventory preparation, and warehouse organization. Basic floral, botanical, and decor staging capabilities. Quality control evaluation and safe handling of event inventory and furniture.
Soft Skills:
Organized, reliable, proactive, and energetic team orientation. Strong eye for detail with the ability to maintain composure under pressure in fast-paced event environments. Excellent communication, adaptiveness, and problem-solving skills.
Success Metrics
Event setups and breakdowns are executed on schedule and strictly in line with design specifications and quality standards. Warehouse inventory is kept organized, staged, and fully event-ready with accurate quality control tracking. On-site event operations run efficiently with strong collaboration alongside logistics management.
