Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and more, according to established recipes and customer specifications.
• Create tea beverages, smoothies, and other specialty drinks.
• Operate coffee-making equipment and other kitchen appliances.
• Greet customers, take orders, and process payments using the POS system.
• Provide information on menu items, making recommendations when appropriate.
• Address customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
• Stay updated on coffee blends, tea types, and brewing methods.
• Educate customers about the coffee and tea offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area, including the counter, seating area and pastry display.
• Make requisition for supplies, including coffee Capsule, milk, syrups, Pastries.
• Be familiar with the property’s fire and emergency program.
• Any other reasonable duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma with 3 years of experience as a Busser/Runner/Hostess or previous experience as Barista
• Fluent in English and Papiamento, Spanish and Dutch is a plus
• 18 years and up
• Great Computer skills
• Great communication skills with an outgoing personality
• Service oriented and Team Player
• Has great suggestive (up)selling skills
• Follow Food Safety and HACCP Guidelines
• Has a valid Health Card
• Has a Dutch Passport or a valid work permit
