The F&B Storeroom Supervisor ensures the smooth flow of supplies for multiple departments, including Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. This position is responsible for vendor coordination, purchasing, receiving, and stock control while upholding safety and quality standards to support seamless operations across the resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the storeroom, including receiving, storing, and issuing supplies.
- Coordinate purchasing and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and reconciliations.
- Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and hygiene standards before distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, stock usage, and purchase orders.
- Work closely with F&B, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams to fulfill departmental supply needs.
- Support cost-control initiatives and minimize waste.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in storeroom, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and storage requirements.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English required; Dutch, Spanish, or Papiamento is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.
