Position Overview

Okaicos is looking for an experienced retail professional to fulfill the position as Retail Sales Manager at its new store located within The St. Regis Aruba Resort. The primary responsibilities are to provide outstanding customer service, generate sales and hit provided sales targets, hire and manage a team of qualified sales associates, merchandise product and supporting visuals, and uphold the core mission and values of the brand.

Location: The St. Regis Aruba Resort, J.E. Irausquin Blvd 75 E, Noord, Aruba

Duties & Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and excellent sales service.
• Deep understanding of product and assortment.
• Complete daily opening and closing operations checklist requirements.
• Manage all other Okaicos Sales Associates and weekly work schedules.
• Support hiring, as needed, of Sales Associates.
• “Go the extra-mile” to attract customers and drive sales.
• Ensure the store in always in pristine condition and cleaned
• Receive and process shipments of new product.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Process all sales, returns, and exchanges through the POS (point of sale).
• Build relationships and trust with customers and local partners.
• Assist with, and complete, any related in-store activates required to provide the most optimal custom experience.
• Abide by standard operating procedure as written in the Okaicos Retail Manuel.

Experience Requirements

• Previous sales and/or marketing experience in a retail environment.
• Proven track record of leadership.
• A strong team player and ability to work independently and proactively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional organization ability, high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• A fast leaner with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more).
• Ability to stand for an extended periods of time.
• Move and handle boxes of merchandise, fixtures, and décor throughout the store, which entails lifting and performing all functions previously set forth.
• Active driver’s license
