Job Title: Reservations Coordinator/Administrative Assistant

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Delphi Watersports back-office in the area of Noord

Note: the job requires being available to work on weekends/holidays and being on call after office hours

Delphi Watersports is a leading watersports company on the island with over 30 years of operating experience in the industry. We offer over 15 different water and land activities, including tours and equipment rental. Our main front office location is on the beach in front of the Hyatt Regency hotel. We have customers ranging from repeat-guests to first time visitors to the island. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional client relationship services and providing our guests with unforgettable experiences on the water and on land. Our team is made up of passionate individuals who are dedicated to sharing their love for watersports and land activities with our customers.

Job Description

Our team is looking for a new reservations coordinator to strengthen our team. The role includes both external communication with our customers (via telephone/whatsapp/email) as well as internal communication with our various operational team members, keeping track of bookings and availability, maintaining operational overviews and assisting with various administration tasks.

We are looking for a motivated person with good interpersonal skills, who can be creative in finding solutions for our customers and identifying sales opportunities for the company, while maintaining a patient and positive attitude.

Minimum requirements:

  • English, Dutch and Spanish speaking and writing skills
  • Good time management/prioritization skills
  • Proactive and can work under pressure
  • Team player (collaborative attitude)
  • Intermediate computer proficiency/basic knowledge of microsoft office and internet applications

Additional pro’s:

  • experience working with booking platforms/reservation software
  • previous experience working in an administrative position and/or experience with quickbooks
  • previous experience in tourism industry or reservations/customer service function
  • additional language skills
