Job Description
Department: Housekeeping
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
About the job
Responsible for ensuring that standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the resort and to manage housekeeping and laundry department. Responsible for the inspecting guest rooms and public areas of the resort after being cleaned by housekeeping staff in accordance with Casa Del Mar Beach Resort (CDM) policies and guidelines. Assist Executive Housekeeper in managing daily activities and coach, guide and train housekeeping staff. Provides prompt and courteous service to guests.
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Must be physically capable to meet the requirements of position, such as physical mobility and stamina.
- Strong communication skills in English, Spanish, and Papiamento is required.
- Must be able to follow instructions, work independently and be detail oriented.
Education & Experience
- Secondary school (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 year of supervisory experience in housekeeping (preferred).
