As Front office agent I oversaw the office and had the responsibility of opening and closing the office.
I had to organize the hotel reservation in the Guest point channel system to make sure we had more rooms available, review all the reservations are correctly entered in the system to avoid any double bookings or overbooked.
I worked with Expedia, Booking.com, Airbnb, Hotusa, Despegar, Reconline. I had to reconcile the monthly booking system and make sure this was billed and paid correctly.
My daily routine included.
Greet and check‑in Guest
Verify reservations using Guest point database systems
Verify credit card information in Site minder system
Manage a front desk in areas of manual and computerized scheduling
Book tours, car rental and activities around the island for guest, keep them informed of all the activities.

At your service (AYS) agents are called the brains of the Marriott hotels.
At your service agents are more than just telephone operators, I had to work with other departments in creating/closing & follow up work orders. We had to answer phone calls using proper etiquette, at the end of each shift i had to file my telephone log and work order sheet.
I learned to work with Opera,Micros and the Guestware system.
As an At your service agent i sometimes oversaw emergency calls and login any accident or complains that the guests might have.
