Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and bright individual to join our Engineering Team. Our Engineering team is responsible for keeping our resort in immaculate shape, including guest rooms, public area’s as well as F&B areas. As a Technician, you are a hands-on person with exceptional knowledge of the workings of the resort’s engineering needs.
EXPECTATIONS
– Preferably with experience in customer service
– HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Carpentry, and or plumbing experience required
– Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
– Excellent communication skills
– A problem-solver who is solution-oriented with a customer focus orientation
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
QUALIFICATIONS
– Prior relevant work experience is required; experience with hotel operations is a plus
– Degree in Engineering or relevant field
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Proficiency in English; Papiamento, Dutch, and Spanish are a plus
– Tech-savvy
– Must be flexible, able to work in shifts (AM/PM), weekends, and holidays
