About me
I’m a young entrepreneur working to better support myself and my business which is a local rum shop called Little Josey. I have a passion for generating new ideas into profitable ventures that expand my knowledge in multiple areas. My employees would describe me as a driven, resourceful individual who maintains a positive, proactive attitude when faced with uncertainty.
I’m also a Junior student at the University of Aruba, studying Hospitality and Tourism Management. Being both a young entrepreneur and a full-time student has its challenges, mental fatigue for once is hard to battle, but through experience, I’ve learned to approach my work strategically. I am accountable for all of the work at school and at my business, so remaining organized to ensure I meet every deadline is a must.
Ultimately, my diligence is starting to pay off. I am in the process of completing my bachelor’s degree and it becomes easier day by day, course by course. The entire process taught me more about dedication than nearly every other experience. It also showed me the benefits of hard work, as, while it is difficult, it’s certainly a journey worth taking in the end.
When I’m not studying or managing my business, I enjoy going on hikes and adventures with my life partner, spending time with friends and family, building new ideas, cooking and reading.
